PAS23/24 Maximum Security Doors

September 7th, 2011 by admin

PAS 23/24 is the British Standard for enhanced security performance of door assemblies.  Clearline can supply and install doors to meet this high level of security if required.  A door must pass vigorous safety and security tests in order to be awarded the certification.

All of Clearline’s Composite and GRP doors meet the PAS 23/24 requirements, other doors must include the following specification in order to meet this high standard:

  • Toughened laminated glass and/or reinforced panels
  • STV2 hooklocks
  • Flag hinges
  • Low aluminium threshold
  • Barrell protector
  • Run-up blocks

In addition to this specification a door must incorporate a midrail, unless it is a GRP or composite door.
